The Mockingbird Theatre and Bar has three film screenings coming up which will be further enlivened by a real band. The first is tomorrow night, it’s the controversial drummer movie Whiplash, and the live band will be led by drummer Jonathan Silk.

Others planned for the future are The Graduate with music from Michael McLeish and Andy Farmer plus trumpeter Sean Gibbs, and O’ Brother Where Art Thou?, with Mason Dixon and Tom Moore providing the live sounds.

Joseph French, who is the man responsible for organising the Nadafilm events under the Design My Night banner, explains:

“This is not a live score, nor a foyer band, this is a carefully selected schedule of your favourite film with intermissions of live music. Throw in at-seat service of craft beer and snacks, themed decor and prepare yourself to see films in a way in which you’ve never seen them before.”

Starting time is 8pm (doors open 7.30pm) and tickets are £15.
