The Days Of May returns in August

el sueno existeThe Days Of May is the name of the band created by pianist Steve Tromans to play his Music in the Time of Revolution but it’s playing this Saturday, 1 August.

The band – Steve, Ruth Angell, Sid Peacock, Tymoteusz Jozwiak and Lluis Mather – is appearing at El Sueño Existe, the Latin American music and culture festival in Machynllech which seeks to revive the spirit of Victor Jara in this Mid-Wales setting between tomorrow, 31 July, and Sunday, 2 August.

The Chilean poet, singer/songwriter and activist Victor Jara has been a long-abiding hero of Steve’s and he dedicated music to him back in 2009.
