Well, here is a prime way to do just that. Birmingham City University – that’s Birmingham Conservatoire as far as jazz is concerned – is advertising for a Senior Lecturer in Jazz.

According to Jeremy Price who is Head Of Jazz at the Conservatoire it’s “a genuine expansion of capacity here” and he is very excited at the prospect of boosting the senior fire power in the department by 50% – the other main player in jazz at the Conservatoire is Hans Koller.
