Mornington in the evenington

Saxophonist Mornington Lockett, brilliant and brisk at all times, is the guest with the Straitjackets this evening at The White Swan in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The band is led by bassist Tom Hill and has Marcus Byrne on piano, Pete Harris on guitar and Neil Bullock on drums.
Lockett is, of course, a mainstay of Stan Tracey’s bands and was in Ronnie Scott’s Sextet. He is also one of the Three Jazz Tenors with Don Weller and Art Themen.
This evening’s gig starts at 8pm, entry is £8 and it is a Stratford Jazz promotion. For more information about them, go here.
