Ex-Birmingham Conservatoire saxophonist Mark Hanslip won’t now be there as he was booked elsewhere, but his stand-in is Sam Crockatt, who recently won a Parliamentary Jazz Award for his album Howeird. Great smokey tenor and a good player for the Quintet. The trio remains Robin Fincker and Paul Clarvis. Get there!
