Kinch brings the Basement into the Hall

Hugely looking forward to Soweto Kinch and his band doing Basement Fables, part two from his A Life In The Day Of B19 project, at Birmingham Town Hall tonight.
Heard some of it at the Drum and at Cheltenham earlier in the year, which whetted the appetite.
Still think this sounds best in a smaller bar or club setting – the launch of the first part of B19 at the Rainbow remains one of my favourite all-time gigs – but, hey, the material is strong enough to work in a bigger hall, and the Town Hall is a fitting arena for this most affectionately-regarded son on Brum.
When we will be able to hear this new material on CD, only Soweto knows. So, maybe he can tell us.
